Welcome to mjbear.com. MJ is currently working full-time at MSN in CEMEA as an executive producer. She is based in Vienna, Austria.

Previously, she was at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague, where was director of programming she has launched new Web sites and worked on radio and television programs throughout the broadcast region.

knight international press fellowship

iraq media coverage research report
In March 2005, MJ and American University colleague Jane Hall released their research report on media coverage of Iraq. The bottom line: media outlets self-censored reporting due to audience concerns about graphic images and information. The research also found that one-third of the media outlets surveyed posted material on their Internet sites which was not published in other media.
